Run the App and Authorize Descrybe

Use the agent’s launch instructions, complete the browser authorization, and ask for help when the flow is unclear.

You will know how to launch the generated project, complete the Descrybe connection, and recover when the process appears to stop.

Use the commands the agent gave you

Generated projects do not all start the same way. Use the exact setup and launch commands from your agent’s handoff instead of assuming the commands shown in another project will match yours.

Open a terminal in the project folder, paste the commands, and read the output. A message that the app is listening on a local address is normally a good sign. Keep the terminal open while you use the app.

Complete the Descrybe authorization

The first connection attempt may open Descrybe in your browser. If you are signed out, create an account or sign in, then approve the connection flow presented for your app.

It is easier to begin while already signed in to Descrybe, but seeing a sign-in page does not necessarily mean the app failed. It may simply be waiting for you to authorize it.

If nothing seems to happen

Sometimes the terminal and browser do not make the next step obvious. Stop the running process with Control-C if necessary, return to the coding agent, and explain exactly what you saw.

There is little value in silently spinning your wheels. The agent can inspect the project it created and tell you whether to restart a command, open a local URL, finish authorization, or change the app.

Connection diagnostic prompt
I followed your run instructions and completed the Descrybe sign-in or authorization step, but the app does not appear to continue. Please inspect the current project and explain what state it is likely in. Give me one small diagnostic step at a time, including the exact command or page I should use, and wait for the result before proposing a larger change.

Open the app in a browser

Your agent or terminal should provide a local link. Open it in the browser and look for the connection control the agent created.

Click Connect and complete any remaining authorization step. The goal of this lesson is narrow: reach a visible state showing that the app can connect to Descrybe.
